The Benefits

Dry Lube's lubrication system has a major impact on production and packaging lines . These are features you can benefit from.

Transform the work environment.

The Dry Lube System has an immediate positive impact on slip, trip and fall incidents. Significant improvements in the working environment around packaging lines have reduced these accidents by up to 50%/annum at one major customer.

The Dry Lube System leaves no reside on production lines. We have examples of our customers who have not needed to clean their lines for two years.

The Dry Lube System does not support the growth of bacteria associated with wet lubrication systems. The result is that our clients do not have to stop their lines for cleaning, the atmosphere is cleaner and the bad odour from wet lubricant usually associated with these production lines disappears.

Make big water savings.

Bottling plants and food manufactures are increasingly coming under pressure to use water more sparingly. Our customers have experienced a significant reduction in usage of water - up to 8 million litres per year for a single packaging line.

Reduce your impact on the environment.

Because Dry Lube use food grade approved lubricants instead of a detergent based products, we dramatically cut down on pollutants. Our product is used in such small quantities it leaves no residue or appear in the waste water treatment unit.

Dry Lube's system means there is no need to dispose of detergents and other dirty waters associated with wet lubrication. This alone is a significant improvement to the environment and reduces chemical oxygen demand (COD).

Make significant financial savings.

As the Dry Lube System reduces friction between conveyor belts and wear strips, the working life of the belts have been doubled in some cases. Savings are estimated at around £10,800 per annum, per packaging line.  Conveyor motor electrical consumption is also decreased, typically by 10%. Savings in water and effluent equate to up to £25,000 per annum based on a water/effluent charge of £2/m3.

For a new line there will be capital cost savings as a result of savings in water handling equipment and reduced effluent treatment requirements. In addition, there is no need to install drip trays, soap storage areas or new effluent treatment facilities and associated pipe work.

Improve line performance and increase productivity.

The Dry Lube System enables improved control of the friction between the bottles and the conveyor leading to improved operating efficiencies. In Coca-Cola Wakefield, operations on line 3 were impaired by chronic bottle handling problems.  The application of the Dry Lube system created immediate improvement in productivity by 10% which has been sustained over the past six years.
