Job description
We are looking for an ambitious Marketing Manager to spearhead our business development. Our current customer base extends from the UK to Eastern Europe, South Africa and North America, we expect the majority of our growth to come from outside of the UK. This role involves a high degree of autonomy, will be customer facing and will operate on an international basis, the successful candidate will be expected to involve technical colleagues.
Reporting directly to the CEO the Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering the marketing strategy, including:
- Lead all marketing activities (develop company presentations, pricing practices, sales proposals, follow up activity, website)
- Undertake market research reviews and establish potential customer leads
- Directly contact potential customer leads, establish their current status and where appropriate recommend Dry Lube's offer
- Establish marketing practices to maintain and grow our business with existing customers
- Maintain sales and marketing metrics
- Ensure all marketing activities are targeted towards generating cash
Skills and experience:
The ideal candidate will have:
- B2B commercial experience
- Concept or service marketing experience
- Experience in the food and beverage or packaging sector
- Language skills an advantage

Role: Service Engineer
Location: Scotland/North East

Job description
A diverse and pro active role, providing engineering and maintenance support alongside high levels of customer service. The principle role is servicing, repairing and upgrading existing dry lubrication systems, but also includes taking a leading role if required on new installations and commissioning of the Dry Lube system, becoming the main follow up representative for customers. This role also incorporates an element of sales support.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager for Europe, key responsibilities for the role are:
- Deliver great customer service by providing an expert front line engineering service to existing customers
- Plan, implement and manage any site repairs and upgrades to the systems
- Report and continuously seek ways of improving performance and to facilitate corrective measures when required
- Take a pro-active approach to maintain continuity of service to all customers through forward thinking planning and communication to ensure customer service is maintained at all times
- Support and take an active role installing and commissioning the Dry Lube system
- Ensure all installation and service processes are carried out to Dry Lube standards
- Work with subcontract labour on behalf of Dry Lube, maintaining Dry Lube customer service and quality standards
- Monitor, maintain and promote a safe working environment on all Dry Lube working areas.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company and statutory health & safety requirements, this includes adherence to any customer on site requirements
- Ensure all statutory and company required paperwork is up to date through effective record keeping and organization
Skills and Experience
- Time served multi skilled engineer (5+ years)
- Experience working in an engineering role in food or drink production and packaging environment
- Ability to work independently, but also as part of a team
- Pro active approach to continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills, and an ability to not be phased when under pressure.
- Able to self manage and motivate
- An excellent knowledge of Health & Safety issues and understanding from an engineering perspective
